Natural Resource Partners L.P. has two omnibus agreements in place with insiders: the WPP group and the Cline group. In summary, these omnibus agreements govern the means by which certain properties containing approximately 23 billion tons of coal reserves in the United States must be offered to Natural Resource Partners for purchase. These omnibus agreements afford NRP significant built-in growth opportunities well into the future. The WPP Group agreement covers properties predominantly in North Dakota and Montana while the Cline Group properties are in the Illinois Basin.
